Q1
Can you add extra powerpoints without rewiring the whole room?
Usually yes. We run a new spur or a short circuit from a nearby suitable point, or from the switchboard where the existing circuit is at capacity. We confirm the safest option after inspecting the space.
Q2
Do you install sub-boards for granny flats and studios?
Yes. Sub-boards give a separate metering-ready supply with its own RCDs and breakers — a common requirement for granny flats, workshops and pool areas.
Q3
Do you handle the electrical for a full renovation?
Yes. We work from plans (or a walk-through) to scope rough-ins, coordinate with other trades, and fit off once cabinetry and finishes are in.
Q4
Will you provide an Electrical Safety Certificate?
Yes — prescribed installation work is certified on completion under Energy Safe Victoria requirements.
Q5
How long does it take to add a new powerpoint?
A straight-forward extra outlet on an existing circuit is often a short visit. If the wall cavity is hard to access, or a new circuit has to run back to the switchboard, allow more time — we'll confirm after a quick look at the space.
Q6
Do you install outdoor powerpoints and garden lighting?
Yes. Outdoor circuits use weatherproof IP-rated fittings and RCD protection. We plan cable routes to avoid tree roots and future landscaping where possible.
